Our team in

Counseling

Counseling is at the core of what we do at The Center KSQ. The inception of the design of our integrated-wellness community was founded on the insight and vision of our original counseling team. Counseling is such a vital and important tool. It centers around not what is wrong with you, but about what has happened. This is a paradigm shift in the clinical world and a cornerstone to who we are and how we practice as a team at The Center KSQ.

Lisa Ecret
COUNSELING INTERN

Lisa's passion and dedication to helping others have shaped her therapeutic approach which focuses on empowerment and helping individuals become the best version of themselves. She believes that where we come from and what we have experienced shape our views of self and the world; however, this does not have to define us, and we do not have to settle for less than what we are worth or want. Lisa loves to listen to clients’ stories and does so with empathy and compassion. She is committed to guiding clients through therapy at their own pace while providing a safe space to work toward positive change. Lisa is excited to apply her academic training and practical experience. This experience has prepared her to sit with diverse clients, including children, adolescents, and adults while fostering a nonjudgemental environment of respect for clients of all backgrounds, lifestyles, and religious beliefs.

Lisa is an intern pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University Irvine’s Townsend Institute. Lisa holds an MS in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs from Temple University and has worked for 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Her own lived experiences have called her to a career change in the mental health field.
